Well one of my little cherubs got bubble gum all over one of my leather couches. When I noticed it, both were already aware of it, though neither of them owned up to it. Anyway, thankfully the couch is made of leather and the gum came of with a little work. I used an ice cube to aide in the removal, and it worked quite well.
We seem to have frequent gum mishaps in this house. A few months ago, Matthew glued his eyelids shut with gum. In this case, ice did not work. Peanut butter was the saving grace, instead. Yes. I smeared a whole bunch of peanut butter all over his eye and the gum loosened up from his lids and lashes.
Though I don't wish bubble gum disasters on anyone, if it happens to you or a loved one keep in mind these tips!!!

sweet tips! :)
I once used a black sharpie (permanent marker) mom's dining room table. I scrubbed it with toothpaste and that removed. There's another tip!
Ouch on the gum on the eye...that sounds painful. These are great tips though...hopefully I won't have to use them in the near future but you never know.
