I do my part with regards to the recycling thing but....... I print almost every email that comes through my inbox at work. Whether it's something I'm working or just trying to read. Sometimes it too hard to read on the screen. Personal emails are different. I don't print those ever. Read and delete. But I will say, I'll be damned if emails are going to start coming through with that printed on them! Let me decided what I can and can't print.
I've never seen or received that message. Maybe they're trying to get large businesses to cut down on printing?? Kind of strange! I wouldn't worry about printing your photos, I mean, you usually keep those, right?
I see you everewhere, but have never made it over before. So, hi!
I just saw that on an email for the first time the other day as well. It confused me because I couldn't actually tell you the last time I printed out an email. Obviously somebody does, but why?
Well, now, Amy--that's one I've never seen before. I was reading "green" books before they were called "green" books. Heck, I'll admit it--I participated in the VERY FIRST EVER Earth Day, but...if that came thru on an e-mail to me, I would be vewwy, vewwy tempted to print the thing out, put it in an envelope (more unfriendly-to-the-environment-ness) and snail mail it to the e-mail sender. Just because that is such a condescending thing to do. I might even consider tacking on a Post-It that said "mind your own business." Don't like being talked down to! :) I say anybody should be able to print whatever they want. If you're old enough to know how to print it, you're old enough to know if it should be printed or not. The World According to Kim. BWAHAHAHAHA!
Im all for doing a part in helping clean up, but I definently think that is okay to print photos and even emails. If people are worried about wasting paper...recylcle it. There are usually recycling binds around peoples town. Just recycle what you don't need to keep around :)
Ya know, Amy Jean Kelly--there is nothing I love more than a good pot-stirrer!!!! HAHAHA! If I were to move there and we put our heads together, I'll bet we could instigate a riot or two :). Wouldn't that be fun? Then we could stand in the back and giggle. How in the world did I ever get to be the age I am?
generally i have no reason to print personal email.
however, when i was working i printed many emails, as i always needed hard copies for backup. unfortunatley if something is in black and white, on paper it can't really be refuted!!!
I print a lot of my e-mails that I need to keep for meetings and such. I guess it's just a matter of what you feel you need to keep. I've never seen this message yet.
Thanks for the prayers for our baby - see you soon. Kellan
