I have a third-grader too...

In all my Kindergarten hoopla, I forgot to mention
that I have a third-grader too!
This is just too crazy - I actually
remember third grade, myself.
And it doesn't seem so long ago
(maybe this is just my mind's defense mechanism!!!)
If someone knows how to just freeze these moments,
do share your secret with me.

I find myself bubbling so much over my kindergartener this year, I find myself adding footnotes about my first grader in conversations all the time.

3rd grade, I remember it vividly too! Crazy that your son is now experiencing it, huh? Thank goodness I don't remember preschool very well, then I'd be in trouble. He's such a handsome boy, soon he'll be in junior high!

Third grade was by far my best school year ever!!!

Not kidding. He'll love it!

And wow! Look at those blue sparkly eyes . . .

Third grade is one of those grades you remember. I remeber it being the first year we had real homework and the math book had cut op fruit on the front.

Perfect boys, BOTH of them! We've been doing the school things for a few weeks now here, and I actually have a sick boy home today. You know, that "back to school cold!" The one you get EVERY year?! fun fun fun

Love the photos of both the boys.

I am glad to see you did a special posting on your third grader. Just in case he should feel a little left out of the attention loop. Third grade?? Wow, and tomorrow he will be graduating, doesn't seem real does it? Cherrish each and every moment.

You are doing the best you can by slowing it down..taking these great photos and recording it for the future!

Hang in there...it is an awesome time, though...isn't it?

I love your shots...seriously. They are awesome. I'm flying you in to take photos of my kid...when I hit the jackpot, of course. :-)

That is EXACTLY what I am worried about! Preschool throught Grade 1 don't seem like that big of a deal to me because I don't remember my own experiences . . . but come Grade 2! He is a very handsome young man - good job, Momma!
