Semper fi.....

Despite the rain, the party was a success.
The lunch menu was pizza and corn dogs. Could it get any better?
Party attire was camouflage, as was the cake.
The boys learned real first aid tips and rescue techniques.
The bandage up the soldier game was a hit -
toilet paper was the bandages!
While my prayers for sun weren't answered,
the ones for a fun time were!
Yes - it was a fun time for all.
As fun as it can be with a house full of ten boys, that is!!!!

Awesome! My daddy is a Marine (once a Marine, always a Marine, even though he's been out my whole life!) The Boy loves all the stuff about the Corp too! Cool post.

It looks like my favorite red-headed boy had a great buddy birthday party...and you, Amy JEAN Kelly, lived through it--YAY!!!! Great pix, too :)...

Oh that was great! Send me the email on game ideas when you have just a minute! I loved the cake too, I will tell my sil about it and see if she would be interested in that. I think you did a great job, sun or no sun, a birthday party is made for memories. Mission accomplished!

This is exactly the kind of party kids love the best--no clowns, or restaurants--just good, old-fashioned kid party fun!

I love the salutes and the BIG pizza bite! Looks like they had a great time. The bandage game idea is very clever...kinda funny because we did something similar at my bridal shower...made a wedding dress!
Wedding dress...Marine Corp bandages...close enough!
